When: Saturday, July 3 at 11:30am to 3:00pm

Where: On the Village Green

What: Sponsored by the Parasol Environment Team, this free event runs concurrent with the Carnival on the Green. You can enjoy family-friendly entertainment with live music by the Banana Slug String Band and a tentative special performance by InnerRhythms Matrix Crew hip hop squad, and take away information on how to live more sustainably, safely and efficiently with our environment.

Local organizations will offer information on Best Management Practices, Defensible Space, Low Impact Recreation, Bear Awareness, and more. After enjoying the festivities at the Village Green, take a tour at the Sierra Nevada College Demonstration Garden and learn more about native plant identification and planting. Tour schedule to be announced. While on the SNC Campus you can also visit the UC Davis Science Center.

Cost: This event is free to the public.
